It has been a while since I uploaded the screenshots of the videos I took while tracking the gorillas in Bwindi. Today I had some spare time left and decided to edit these videos and cut them with some other footage taken with a flipcam and iPhone by my friend Gijs Koning. I hope this video will give you an impression of the gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest and the hour we spent with these amazing primates!
RL said, Cool video dude, nice to see you guys out there in the forest!
Too bad the flipcam has some kind of swirl over the image, it is unsteady and a bit vague from time to time.
Some more wide shots with the DSLR would have proven valuable as in betweens, but I guess the forest was to dense for that. 🙂
Would love to see a short video of only the steady DSLR shots with some atmospheric background music like I sent you in that bike video last week?
Cheers!
In reply to RL, Robert said, Thanks man! And yeah the dense forest was a problem and also the fact that I had my 70-200 lens… I don’t think I have enough material to make a movie only using the DSLR shots. The bike video by the way was really nice, and very simply made also. Nice weekend man!
